Jeep Cherokee Dealers in Kansas City

Jeep Cherokee SUVs date from way back. It is one of the longest-running models in the market. However, the 2017 Jeep Cherokee is no old-school wagon. This modern family wagon has been recast from the sport-utility roots of the older models into a much broader vehicle, able to handle all kinds of conditions.

The 2017 Jeep Cherokee has four trim levels: the Trailhawk, Limited, Latitude, and Sport. This is one of the most modern Jeep models and it has an excellent off-road performance that is common on Jeep models.

Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk trim is an excellent off-road performer. This trail-rated Jeep has a lot of options for traction and ground clearance that work superbly for outdoor performance. It comes with different four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems, such as Active Drive I and II. The Selec-Terrain system is present on all 4WD models; however, models for Rock Sport, Snow, and Sand/Mud are available as separate features. 4-cylinder engine models are also available. The Jeep Cherokee has an extremely good crawl ratio of 56:1.

Some of the features of the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that justify its trail-rated badge include its remarkable rear and front fasciae, 1-inch lift, red tow hooks, Active Drive Lock and added skid plates.

Jeep Renegade Dealers in Kansas City

The Jeep Renegade is a compact SUV with a substructure similar to the new Fiat 500X. The Renegade is slightly larger than a mini-SUV but smaller than a mid-size SUV. It is much more rugged and better equipped for urban utility and all-weather traction.

The Jeep Renegade is unlike the angular, creased designs of models such as the Liberty and Patriot, and the softer designs of the Grand Cherokee, the new Cherokee and the Compass. Instead, it embraces a fresh look that is bulky and rugged but still sophisticated with a tinge of playfulness. Like other Jeeps, the Renegade has a grille that is bluntly slotted and a windshield that is upright. The rear flanks are curved and beltline is low, which fits into the traditional style.

The Jeep Renegade is 167 inches long, which makes it a bit longer than a Wrangler, but shorter than the Patriot by slightly more than half-foot. The size of its interior is the same as the Patriot because it is a bit taller and wider, but it can still fit into smaller parking spaces with ease.

The front seats of the Renegade are upright and have a low beltline. This greatly improves the visibility for the driver. The space in the back seat is big enough to accommodate several adults. The cargo space with the rear seatbacks up is 18.5 cubic ft. When flipped forward, space increases to about 51 cubic ft. The roll-back cloth roof of the renegade can be opened and entirely removed.

Outside the U.S. the Renegade comes with several engine options. However, those bound for the United States are powered by two engine choices only. First, a 1.4L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine connected to a six-speed manual transmission. This engine is able to produce 160 horsepower. The second engine is a 2.4L engine connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This engine's power is 184 horsepower. The Jeep Renegade has independent rear suspensions that use Koni's frequency selective shocks. This gives it an excellent balance and stable ride. The anti-lock brakes are able to detect rough roads and react as appropriate.

Jeep Wrangler Dealers in Kansas City

This convertible SUV is a common model on our roads. The design of this model is inspired by the military Jeeps that were used during World War II. Over time, it has become one of the most popular models in the world of automobiles.

Jeep introduced the 2- and 4-door models of the Wrangler in 2007. The 4-door is the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The old American Motor Corporation V6 engine (used since the days of the Rambler) was replaced by a 3.8L V6 205-horsepower engine.

In 2011, the interior of the Wrangler was heavily revamped in a bid to improve the customer experience. A new instrument panel was introduced and the whole cabin upgraded. The noise insulation was also improved. In 2012, a new 3.6L Pentastar V-6 engine with 285 hp was added by Jeep. The new engine was either hooked to a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission, making it more responsive and quicker than the previous 3.8L 6-cylinder engine.

For both models, the body styles are offered with soft and hard tops. All models still have removable doors and half doors. The windshield is still the same and folds over like in older models.

The Wrangler has great off-road performance. Importantly, though, this generation of Wranglers promises an improved city and highway performance. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has a very broad wheelbase that gives it one of the best rides in a Jeep. The powertrains and suspensions underwent major improvements to provide a great driver and passenger experience. This generation of Wrangler is larger than the previous one. It has better passenger comfort and also comes with features such as remote entry and power windows among others. The Wrangler is the vehicle of choice for anyone in Kansas City who wishes for a great outdoor experience.
